My Story
Yes, I'm the person who gets genuinely giddy over a perfectly labeled bin. I come by it honestly: my grandma loves vacuuming as much as most people love vacations, and I was "helping" my sisters declutter their toys before I even understood what a system was.
Before The Home Refresh, my career took a few fun turns. I spent years designing and building escape rooms, where every puzzle and prop had to be exactly in place for the experience to work. Then I worked for a storage systems company, where I saw firsthand how the right system turns a home that drains you into one that gives you room to breathe.
In 2022, my husband, Joe, and I moved to Staunton and bought the 1905 fixer-upper with all its quirks and surprises, I'd always dreamed of. A few year later, I became a mom to twin boys, and life got loud, full, and wonderfully chaotic.
I love being outside, going on adventures with my boys, and making the most of every day, which is exactly why organization matters to me. It's not about a Pinterest-perfect pantry. It's about clearing the noise so there's more room for the fun stuff.

Life gets messy. I'm here for it. My goal is to not to add pressure, but to take some off. No judgment, just a partner and a plan to help you get back to living your fullest life in a space that finally works for you.
